The basics, the good stuff, and the things worth knowing before you dive deeper.
Welcome to Weed 101
Whether you're a cannabis-curious, brand new to the plant, or simply want to understand it a little better, welcome to Weed 101. Here, we break down the basics in plain-form from flower and concentrates to edibles and beyond--so you can explore cannabis with little more knowledge and a lot less confusion.

FLOWER
Flower is the traditional form of cannabis—the dried and cured buds of the cannabis plant. It can come in countless strains, aromas, colors, and cannabinoid profiles, with effects that can vary from one product to another. Flower can be smoked or vaporized, making it one of the most recognizable and versatile forms of cannabis.
CONCENTRATES
Concentrates are cannabis products made by extracting cannabinoids and terpenes from the plant, creating a much more concentrated product than flower. They come in many forms and textures, including oils, waxes, shatter, and rosin. Because concentrates can contain significantly higher levels of cannabinoids, a little can go a long way.

EDIBLES
Edibles are cannabis-infused foods and beverages that offer an alternative to inhaling cannabis. Gummies, chocolates, baked goods, drinks, and other infused treats can all fall into this category. Because edibles are processed through the digestive system, their effects can take longer to appear and may last considerably longer than inhaled cannabis—so patience is part of the experience.
